Instructions

    Roughly chop tomatoes and onion. Sauté in butter with garlic until soft, about 8 minutes.

    Add water, salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes until everything is very soft.

    Blend the mixture until smooth. Strain through a sieve for extra smooth texture.
